Our mission is to develop inclusive communities where people discover sacred worth and calling.

Our Core Values

  • Empathy – We see people as people. Not as objects. Not as obstacles. But as people, just like we are.
  • Inclusion – We invite everyone to participate fully in our ministries regardless of the false walls that tend to separate us, including sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, economics, politics, or race.
  • Trust – We are who we say we are. If your trust has been broken by a faith community before. We understand.
  • Humility – We are confident in our calling and acknowledge that we are one church among many in which God is using to reach this community.

Our Purpose
We‌ ‌see‌ ‌people‌ ‌as‌ ‌people‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌God‌ ‌loves‌ ‌everyone‌ ‌just‌ ‌as‌ ‌they‌ ‌are,‌ ‌and‌ ‌our‌ ‌church‌ ‌seeks‌ ‌out‌ ‌and welcomes‌ ‌people‌ ‌of‌ ‌all‌ ‌different‌ ‌backgrounds.‌ ‌We‌ ‌refuse‌ ‌to‌ ‌see‌ ‌sexual‌ ‌orientation,‌ ‌gender, politics,‌ ‌ethnicity,‌ ‌economics,‌ ‌race,‌ ‌and‌ ‌age,‌ ‌as‌ ‌barriers,‌ ‌but‌ ‌instead‌ ‌we‌ ‌gain‌ ‌strength‌ ‌and‌ ‌thrive through‌ ‌everyone’s‌ ‌unique‌ ‌differences.‌ ‌

We‌ ‌worship‌ ‌God‌ ‌creatively‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌Our‌ ‌worship‌ ‌is‌ ‌simple‌ ‌and‌ ‌creative,‌ ‌and‌ ‌it‌ ‌invites‌ ‌all‌ ‌people‌ ‌to see‌ ‌the‌ ‌calling‌ ‌God‌ ‌has‌ ‌placed‌ ‌upon‌ ‌their‌ ‌lives.‌ ‌We‌ ‌express‌ ‌our‌ ‌relationship‌ ‌with‌ ‌God‌ ‌through music,‌ ‌art,‌ ‌testimonies,‌ ‌spoken‌ ‌word,‌ ‌poetry,‌ ‌dancing,‌ ‌and‌ ‌many‌ ‌other‌ creative‌ ‌expressions‌ that‌ ‌allow‌ ‌us‌ ‌to‌ ‌live‌ ‌a‌ ‌life‌ ‌of‌ ‌faith.‌
 ‌
We‌ ‌partner‌ ‌with‌ ‌our‌ ‌community‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌Our‌ ‌church‌ ‌is‌ ‌an‌ ‌extension‌ ‌of‌ ‌our‌ ‌diverse‌ ‌neighborhood, and‌ ‌we‌ ‌actively‌ ‌partner‌ ‌with‌ ‌neighbors,‌ ‌businesses‌ ‌and‌ ‌organizations‌ ‌in‌ ‌our‌ ‌community.‌ ‌A thriving‌ ‌diverse‌ ‌community‌ ‌requires‌ ‌open‌ ‌arms,‌ ‌building‌ ‌bridges‌ ‌and‌ ‌bringing‌ ‌people‌ ‌together in‌ ‌good‌ ‌times‌ ‌and‌ ‌bad.‌ ‌

We‌ ‌put‌ ‌Gods‌ ‌love‌ ‌into‌ ‌action‌ ‌through‌ ‌Justice‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌Doing‌ ‌the‌ ‌work‌ ‌of‌ ‌love‌ ‌and‌ ‌justice‌ ‌ involves‌ ‌continuously‌ ‌connecting‌ ‌adults‌ ‌and‌ ‌youth‌ ‌of‌ ‌all‌ ‌ages.‌ ‌We‌ ‌actively‌ ‌facilitate‌ ‌and‌ ‌participate‌ ‌in small‌ ‌group‌ ‌and‌ ‌community‌ ‌activities‌ ‌focused‌ ‌on‌ ‌prayer,‌ ‌stewardship‌ ‌and‌ ‌serving‌ ‌the community‌ ‌–‌ ‌all‌ ‌of‌ ‌which‌ ‌bring‌ ‌love‌ ‌and‌ ‌justice‌ ‌to‌ ‌our‌ ‌neighborhood,‌ ‌city‌ ‌and‌ ‌world.‌ ‌ ‌

Our Impact
God’s‌ ‌Affirming‌ ‌Grace‌ ‌Welcomes‌ ‌Old‌ ‌and‌ ‌New‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌Along‌ ‌with‌ ‌those‌ ‌experiencing‌ ‌God’s affirming‌ ‌love‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌first‌ ‌time,‌ ‌people‌ ‌who‌ ‌have‌ ‌experienced‌ ‌hurt‌ ‌or‌ ‌judgment‌ ‌from‌ ‌church‌ are‌ ‌returning‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌renewed‌ ‌faith‌ ‌and‌ ‌passion‌ ‌for‌ ‌changing‌ ‌the‌ ‌world‌ ‌through‌ ‌faith,‌ ‌hope‌ ‌and love.‌ ‌

Broken‌ ‌Down‌ ‌Walls‌ ‌Leads‌ ‌to‌ ‌Community‌ ‌Impact‌ ‌‌–‌ ‌People‌ ‌of‌ ‌all‌ ‌different‌ ‌backgrounds‌ ‌are uniting‌ ‌together‌ ‌to‌ ‌worship‌ ‌God‌ ‌and‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌difference‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌community.‌ ‌Sexuality,‌ ‌gender, politics,‌ ‌ethnicity,‌ ‌economics,‌ ‌race,‌ ‌and‌ ‌age‌ ‌are‌ ‌differences‌ ‌that‌ ‌give‌ ‌our‌ ‌church‌ ‌and‌ ‌community strength,‌ ‌and‌ ‌specifically,‌ ‌many‌ ‌people‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌LGBT+‌ ‌community‌ ‌have‌ ‌found‌ ‌an‌ ‌affirming‌ ‌home to‌ ‌worship,‌ ‌serve‌ ‌and‌ ‌connect‌ ‌regularly.‌ ‌

Justice‌ ‌is‌ ‌Advancing‌ ‌in‌ ‌Our‌ ‌Community‌ ‌and‌ ‌World‌‌ ‌–‌ ‌The‌ ‌members‌ ‌of‌ ‌our‌ ‌church‌ ‌family‌ ‌serve as‌ ‌leaders‌ ‌in‌ ‌education,‌ ‌art,‌ ‌music,‌ ‌government,‌ ‌social‌ ‌service,‌ ‌business,‌ ‌etc.‌ ‌We‌ ‌work‌ ‌together with‌ ‌the‌ ‌neighborhood‌ ‌and‌ ‌community‌ ‌to‌ ‌tackle‌ ‌important‌ ‌social‌ ‌justice‌ ‌issues‌ ‌including economic‌ ‌inequality,‌ ‌civil‌ ‌rights,‌ ‌health‌ ‌care‌ ‌access,‌ ‌overcoming‌ addictions,‌ ‌mental‌ ‌health support,‌ ‌etc.‌ ‌
Our Team
Our team is a representation of who we love. People of all race, ‌ethnic,‌ ‌economic‌ ‌backgrounds,‌ ‌age,‌ ‌political‌ ‌affiliation, sexual‌ ‌orientation,‌ ‌gender‌ ‌and‌ ‌gender‌ ‌identity. ‌We‌ ‌are‌ ‌humble,‌ ‌compassionate‌ ‌and‌ ‌caring.‌ ‌Our team‌ ‌sees‌ ‌value‌ ‌in‌ ‌all‌ ‌people‌ ‌and‌ ‌treats‌ ‌everyone‌ ‌with‌ ‌dignity‌ ‌and‌ ‌respect.‌ ‌ ‌‌We have a ‌ ‌desire‌ ‌to‌ ‌help‌ others experience‌ ‌the‌ ‌love‌ ‌of‌ ‌Christ.‌ ‌We‌ ‌spend‌ ‌time‌ ‌practicing‌ ‌the‌ ‌disciplines‌ ‌of‌ faith‌ ‌building:‌ ‌prayer, scripture‌ ‌reading,‌ ‌serving,‌ ‌fasting,‌ ‌stewardship,‌ ‌gathering‌ ‌with‌ ‌fellow‌ ‌believers,‌ ‌and‌ ‌other disciplines‌ ‌that‌ ‌deepen‌ ‌our‌ ‌faith.‌ ‌
